Hello everybody..

Of course this list is subject to change.

The list is only for players who have not been carded/drafted yet in our league.

Chris

1) Matt Duchene, c, Col - The next Joe Sakic? This kid is a franchise center, notching just above Tavares.

2) John Tavares, c, NYI - After bad drafts, bad trades, & bad FA signings, the Islander faithful finally have a franchise player to believe in. He will lead the NYI resurgence.

3) Tyler Myers, d, Buff - 6'7, twenty year old who has yet to fill out his frame. Huge potential as an offensive force from the blueline. Just needs to get a little more aggressive in his own end. That should come with age/time. Will log big time minutes and play in all situations eventually for the Sabres.

4) James Van Riemsdyk, lw, Phil - Power forward, who has the size, speed, & skill scouts drool over. Needs to develop a mean streak. Only going to get better.

5) Evander Kane, lw, Atl - Physical winger with a mean streak. Should flourish in Hotlanta until he becomes too expensive and is traded away.

6) Victor Hedman, d, TB - Skates very well for being 6'6 220lbs. Has leadership skills at an early age. If you believe in building a team from the blue line out, this is your man. He should develop into a great, 2 way, d man.

7) Ryan O'Reilly, c, Col - 2 way centerman whose motor never quits. The kind of hard working center that teams love. Probably will be more of a playmaker than a scorer, with good defense.

8) Jamie Benn, lw, Dall - Off to a great start in the NHL. Has good size and has good hands to be able to put the puck in the net. Has leadership qualities.

9) PK Subban, d, Mon - Played only 2 games but will be draft eligible. Has showed great poise, maturity and 2 way skill in the NHL playoffs. Very impressive that just oozes potential.

10) Jonas Gustavsson, g, Tor - Still a work in progress. Is big for a butterfly goaltender at 6'3. Can he handle the load as a number 1 full timer in a demanding market? Right now however, he has great upside.

11) Brayden Schenn, c, LA - Played one game so he is draft eligible. Future captain material and he leads by example. Good playmaking ability. Future pick here as he plays currently in juniors.
